The Chelsea produced a professional exhibition and composed of the Stamford Bridge to see Bayer Leverkusen 2-0 in a preseason friend.

For Leverkusen and Erik Ten Hag, this was a frustrating evening. They had possession spells, but lacked penetration. Flekken was his prominent performer, avoiding a heavier defeat with several good savings.
For Chelsea, this victory will please both players and supporters.
The expectations will be in the new season and it seems that this blues will compete just at the end of 2025-26.
