One person was killed after a large forest fire in Kerata, southeast of Athens, quickly spread, destroying houses and causing evacuation notifications.
The fire service says the body of an elderly man was found in his house in the area of Tagan, near where the fire began.
On Friday, an explosion broke out in the area of Manutes shortly after 14:00 local time (12:00 BST), initially burning dry grass and land.
