Openai launches new GPT-5 model for all Chatgpt users

Openai Thursday announced GPT-5, the last and most advanced scale Artificial intelligence Model.

The company makes GPT-5 available to all, including its free users. Openai said the model is smarter, faster and “much more useful”, especially in areas such as writing, coding and health.

“I tried to return to GPT-4 and it was quite unhappy,” said Openai CEO Sam Altman at a briefing with journalists.

Since the launch of its AI Chatbot Chatgpt in 2022, Openai crashed in the mainstream. The company stated that it was waiting for a hit 700 million Weekly Active Chatgpt users this week, and this is negotiating with investors on potential stock sale while estimating approximately $ 500 billion as CNBC used to report.

Openai said the GPT-5 hallucination rate is below, which means the model produces less often. The company said it also conducted extensive safety estimates when developing GPT-5, including 5,000 hours of testing.

Instead of refusing to answer users’ answers, if potentially risky, GPT-5 will use “safe completion”, Openai said. This means that the model will give high -level answers as part of safety restrictions that cannot be used to harm.

“GPT-5 has been trained to recognize when the task cannot be completed, avoid speculation and can explain the restrictions more clearly, which reduces unprepared claims compared to previous models,” said Michel Pokras, after training at Openai.

During the briefing Openai demonstrated how GPT-5 can be used for “coding vibrations”, which is a term for when users create software with AI based on a simple written line.

The company asked the GPT-5 to create a web application that can help English learn French. The application had to have an interesting topic and include events such as flash cards and quizzes, as well as a way to track daily progress. Openai introduced the same tip in two Windows GPT-5, and it created two different applications in seconds.

The applications had “some rough edges,” the presenter of Openai said, but users can make additional AI software settings, such as a background change or adding additional tabs as they think fit.

On Thursday, GPT-5 unfolds to free propai, Pro and team users. This launch will be the first time that free users have access to a model of reasoning, which is a type of model that “thinks” or conduct an inner thought before answering. If free users are restricted by their use, they will gain access to the GPT-5 Mini.
