Ethan Plath did his sister Lydia Plath crying on the latest episode of Welcome to Plathvillecriticizing her hurricane romance with Zac Wyse before engagement.
“I want you to be happy, and I’m very happy to see you are happy. But I have to say it,” Ethan, 27, told her younger sister, 21, on Tuesday, August 5 episode, of TLC Series. “You’ve only known for three months and you get married in two months. Are you sure you’re good with that?”
While Lydia said she was confident that Zac was the same, Ethan questioned the speed of their engagement and their subsequent marriage. (Zac and Lydia Set a date for their marriage before he popped the question.)
“It’s too fast. It’s too much. … I don’t really know him. I don’t really like it. Just be honest with you,” Ethan told Lydia, admitting he had no exact reason for his feelings. “I don’t like it, but I don’t know if that’s because I don’t know it yet or is that just because I’m being protective of you and it’s all very fast.”

Lydia quietly broke down in tears before embracing her big brother. Ethan ultimately said, “I feel I don’t really know you. I’m not talking to you much now that you’ve gone already.”

“That’s the first time I really felt worried,” Lydia admitted Ethan, who responded, “I didn’t know you didn’t know.”
Then Lydia told the cameras, although her brother “doesn’t like Zac,” she thinks “it’s much deeper than that.”
“I think the problem is more that doesn’t know me very well,” he continued. “And that’s a difficult reality to face.”
“I wish we would have had more opportunities to be close,” Lydia told Ethan through tears. “I know it has been difficult with you in Minnesota, and there have never been opportunities for him to be expressed.”

Later, the oldest plath brother or sister told the cameras that hearing how far Lydia feels he has been “picking a little.” Ethan also revealed that although it is not “my place” to tell Lydia not to marry Zac so quickly, he wants to make sure she is “careful.”
“I have seen him defend (our sister) Moriah At times, and I knew that he and Moriah were very close. I always wanted that to myself, and I feel like I probably had that today, ”said Lydia in her confession.” Not that he has anything to protect me from, but just the fact that he shows that he is worried. “
