Former US President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary are among a number of high -profile names receiving summonses to the Congress Committee to show about the dead sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Republican James Camera, Chairman of the House Supervision Committee, issued a summons to Clinton, as well as eight others.
The Committee is looking for additional information about Epstein’s history, after the Presidential Administration Donald Trump has decided not to release more federal files on the deceased.
This decision has caused indignation among Trump supporters and some liberals, as many believe that the files include the “customer list” of famous men related to Epstein.
In court, the submission to the Obama, Trump and Biden administration, and the Committee also put in court for the Epstein records.
According to Camer, Merick Garland, headed by the Department under former President Joe Biden, received a message from the Committee.
Both general lawyers during Trump’s first term, Jeff Session and William Barr.
Former FBI directors James Komi and Robert Muelle will also be forced to testify to the committee.
It is not immediately clear whether the people named Comer will appear before the committee, and if they do it, whether they will testify publicly.
Federal prosecutors have accused Epstein of trading minors and other crimes in 2019 during the first Trump administration.
Later this year, he died of suicide in prison, which led to questions and rumors about his death while in custody.
This summer, the current US Prosecutor General Bondi announced that the Ministry of Justice had considered Epstein’s records and found no evidence of a long “customer list”. She also said the evidence supported that he died of suicide while in custody and that the federal government would no longer release its files.
The ads caused indignation among some in Trump’s database, which believed that its administration did not occur about Epstein materials.
In a rare break with President Trump, several members of the House of Representatives called for a greater investigation into the case.
The deprivation of the commander shows that the House Supervision Committee – which has significant investigative powers – will continue to press on the Trump administration.
