“We knew it would be difficult to enter the series, we knew they were going to try -physically and mentally. I think he tried the two more teams than we expected.”

Stokes is a cricket once in generation-Brendon mccullum

Brendon McCullum praised Ben Stokes as a cricket once in generation. McCullum said that Stokes, who lost the fifth test due to an injury, puts his body on the line to make things work for his team. He made:

“Stokes is a cricketer once in a generation. It causes things to happen with the bat in hand, has the highest tests and absorbs the better pressure than anyone ever seen. It is obviously an inspirational captain that boys follow.

“ You are always looking at how to move the game and transfer the pressure to the opposition. Through the strength of will, it is able to make things work and sometimes it means that it has to dump long periods or that it has to take it to dark places. You cannot have one without the other, and sometimes this involves injuries and this is only part and pair.
