India, directed by Shubman Gill, won an exciting 6 -run victory over England on the last day (Monday, August 4) of the fifth and last test of the series at the Kennington Oval in London. The Men in Blue finished the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy in a high note, as the five-game series ended in a 2-2 draw.

England, directed by Ollie Pope, chose Bowl first to the fifth test. India stumbled soon, collapsed up to 33 for 2 after the layoffs of Yasasvi Jaiswal and Kl Rahul. Karun Nair, in a comeback, kept the entrances along with a solid 57. However, India lost its last four doctors by only 6 runs.
Gus Atkinson was the diaper prominent for England, alleging 5 33 -thrown doctors to group India by 224. In response, Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley openers provided a strong base with a 92 -thrown collaboration.
India’s pacers returned to the second session. Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna took four doctors each to get out of England during 247, giving the hosts a narrow advantage of 23 years.
In India’s second entry, Yasasvi Jaiswal led the post with an excellent 118. Akash Deep, Ravindra Jadja and Washington Sundar contributed each of the valuable fifty. Sundar added 39 runs with Prasidh Krishna for the final wick, helping India to achieve a competitive total of 396.
