The suspect is in the run after four people were killed while firing a bar in US Montana, the authorities say.
The shooting took place at the OWL bar in Anaconda at about 10:30 local time, the Montanan criminal investigation department confirmed the BBC CBS partner.
The US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosions (ATF) said “reacted to firing, where several parties were shot in an anaconda business.”
Anaconda is a former copper center, with a population of almost 10,000 people in the southwest Montana, 109 miles (175 km) west of Boseman.
Anaconda-day Lodge Lodge Board Center called the suspect as Michael Paul Brown in a social media report, adding that he is “considered armed and dangerous”.
“If it is not visible, they are not suitable,” the department said. “Contact 911 for any way to contact Michael Paul Brown.”
Officials urge the residents of Anaconda to stay home and block their doors.
The Granite Sheriff Granite’s office, located next to Anaconda, is located on social media that the militant is said to be dressed in a painted tai shirt, blue jeans and an orange bandana. “
The sheriff’s office added that he was searched at the Anacondo militant’s house and Swat cleaned.
Montana Governor Greg Janffort said he monitored the reaction to the incident.
“Please join Susan and me, pray for the victims, their close and brave law enforcement agencies who respond to this tragedy,” said the governor in social media, citing his wife Susan Ganfor.
The FBI was also at the scene and helps the investigation.
Senator Montana Steve Dainens told local media that police drones help.
The Owl bar was built in 1893 to serve the copper workers of Anaconda, according to the 1987 article in the Montana Standard newspaper. It is located in the vicinity of Anaconda called Goosetown.
