US President Donald Trump President Steve Witcoof has first visited the controversial distribution site for Israel and US assistance.

Vitkoff said the purpose of the trip to the Gaza States (GHF) was to give Trump “a clear understanding of the humanitarian situation and to help put out a plan to deliver food and medical care.”

The visit follows from the closest daily reports of deadly shootings at GHF points, and the UN reports that at least 859 Palestinians were killed in the immediate vicinity – the figure that GHF rejects.

Israel says his troops fired only a warning and that they did not intentionally shoot the civilians.

The BBC realizes that Vitkoff has visited one of the GHF sites near Rafa in South Gaza on Friday.

He was accompanied by US Ambassador to Israel Mike Hakabi and Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).

Having settled on X afterwards, along with the photos of his visit, Vitkoff said: “Today we spent more than five hours in gas – setting up facts on the ground, evaluating the conditions and meeting @Ghfupdates and other agencies.”

Hakababi said they received “IDF briefing and talked to people on earth.”

He claimed that GHF websites deliver “more than a million meals a day”, calling it an “incredible feat”.

GHF said there were 1.3 million meals on Thursday to three distribution areas. On Friday, he has not yet released the numbers. The UN states that the number of dishes provided by GHF does not meet the overall food requirements.

International journalists, including the BBC, is blocked by Israel on its own, which makes it difficult to confirm the requirements.

Some gas -talked gas stations announced Vitco’s visit as a “Media -Truk” visit.

Louis Mahmoud, who lives in Gaza, said: “Steve Witcoof will not see hunger, only Israel’s story wants him to see.

“This visit is a hollow trick to the media, not a humanitarian mission. It comes without decisions, only conversations designed to polish the image of the Administration of our suffering.”

Amer Hairat, the father of the two, who lives in Gaza, said: “The fact that the gas needed is not another messenger with the press.

Last week, a resignation officer in the US, who worked at the GHF center, said the BBC that he witnessed IDF troops and US contractors who fired at the Palestinians crowd near the sites he worked on.

Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Agilla, a veteran of the Special Forces of the Green Berets of the US Army, said he had never witnessed this level of “the cruelty and use of the proceedings and unnecessary force against the civilian population, the unarmed population.”

GHF called Agilla’s allegations “categorically false”, calling him “a dissatisfied former contractor who was abolished for violation of the rules” which he denies.

On Friday, the Human Human Watch (HRW) group accused Israeli troops and contractors who support the United States of creating “an unduted, militarized distribution system that has transformed assistance into regular bleeding.”

HRW called for the Israeli authorities “immediately stop the use of death as a crowd of control against Palestinian civilians” and called on the United States and Israel to suspend surgery.

GHF assistance sites replaced the UN distribution mechanism in May, causing international indignation. Israel accused Hamas of robbing UN assistance, Hamas denies.

There are four GHF sites located in Israeli military zones and are guided by US private contractors.

Eyewitnesses and doctors have described Israeli forces several times, opening fire on the crowds near the aid points.

In addition, UN agencies have warned man -made, mass fasting.

On Thursday, the UN Human Rights Office (OCHR) said at least 1373 Palestinians were killed while trying to receive food. Of these, 859 were killed near GHF sites, the report said.

AHR said the majority was killed by Israeli military personnel, and when they knew about other armed groups in the same area, adding that they “did not have information indicating their participation in these murders.”

The office stated that “there is no information that these Palestinians participated directly in hostilities or posed a threat to the Israeli security forces.”

Israel accused Hamas of inciting chaos near assistance sites. GHF rejected UN numbers when addressed to BBC comments.

Meanwhile, at least 10 people were killed in South and Central Gaza from Dawn on Friday, Civil Defense Agency Hamas reports.

This figure includes eight people who died in two separate Israeli air strikes aimed at tents that have leaning people who are displaced by people – in Han UNIS in the south and Deir al -bal in the center of the strip, the agency said.

Two others were killed and at least another 20 injuries when Israeli troops opened fire near the aid distribution point along the corridor of the sea, north of Rafa, added civil defense.

The locals said hundreds of people gathered to get food when the shooting began.

The BBC appealed to the Israeli military for comments.

The Ministry of Health Hamas said 82 people were killed in Gaza on Friday over the last 24 hours, 52 of whom reported what was looking for help.

On Thursday, Witcoof met Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel for describing the US press as “productive” talks.

According to Israeli media, which included a “transaction” that included a “deal” that provided all hostages to Hamas, as well as the complete disarmament of Hamas. Previously, the hostages had to release the stages.

Hamas stated that he would not return to the table until no more help in gas to fight hunger.

Last week, the United States and Israel pulled out negotiations on ceasefire, accusing Hamas of lack of coordination rather than leading negotiations in good faith.

Hamas accused the Israeli side of unwavering the key talks of the negotiations.
