Newcastle’s manager, Eddie Howe, is hopeful of Joe Willock’s last injury, but says he “did not see” excellent on the pitch “when the midfielder stayed during a friendly south of the South Korea World Cup stadium on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old seemed to indicate that he had a serious ankle problem during the Magpies 1-0 defeat against a 1 Makeshift league team in his third loss in 11 days.

After joining Newcastle from Arsenal in 2021, Willock lost more than seven months in the 2023/24 season with string tendon injuries and Achilles.
The first England Youth International lost more than a month from the 2024/25 campaign with three separate issues.
Willock has started the three Newcastle preseason games so far, losing 4-0 to Celtic on July 19 and 3-2 in Arsenal eight days later.
