People are very surprised to see you Kings court! How did you finally agree to him?
I walked away four times. I said, “No, I don’t want to do that.” But then someone inside me – my second Tyson in me! – He said, “Look, you are afraid to cry on TV and let people know how you’ve been hurt.” And I was like, maybe this is the therapy I need? Maybe I need to get back out there? So I said to myself, “Let’s do it!” And then I went in and decided not to hold back. We’re going to be a real self for us – that person who is emotional, the mama’s boy. We’re going to show that side.
Why is it so difficult for you – is widely regarded as the most beautiful man in the world – to find love?
Well, I don’t have a hard time dating. Let’s be clear about that. That becomes easy – the supermarket, Laundromat, anywhere! But he finds love. That’s not easy for anyone in the light to do. I’ve been around lovely models all my life. So for me, it has never been easy to find someone in that package. I went in with a clean slate. I’ve tried other things – apart from dating apps, I refuse to do that. But there are probably a lot of boys on these dating apps pretending to be me!

Well, I’m not gay. I think being a man in fashion, and finding out that you look good, means that the first thing that comes to mind sometimes is that you’re gay, but I don’t. I have friends who are gay, and I love them and protect them. I don’t think that’s something I ever gave away. And secretly, I always dated someone. I was always in a relationship, but I never let him go to press.

It is definitely true that you take care of yourself! How do you stay looking so young?
I am a picky eater. I love working out. I’m adventurous. If I’m home in Miami, I’m either out on my motorcycle or on the beach or planning with my friends to go to airplest or something. We always do something that needs core strength! I don’t drink. I don’t eat red meat. I love eating vegetables. I love a snack on carrots and anything healthy. I eat lunch between the 6 and 7:30 hours, and I don’t eat anything processed. I take good care of my skin. I drink a lot of water. I go outside. If I go to the beach, I will wear SPF 50. I always take care of myself!
Women will want to know rightly about what you’re looking for. How would you describe your queen?
She has to be like me – she can’t take herself too seriously. You have to be able to provoke fun on yourself, to joke and be funny. I think in the Kings court House, I’m the funniest out of all the boys. And she has to be ready to be going, because 10 months out of the year, I’m traveling. But definitely she has to have a sense of humor because I’m a practical joker. I’m probably going to get a picture of her sleep in some way and posted on Instagram, and she can’t be mad. If she wears her mask, I definitely had to have a picture of that.
What else?
I try to be a friend of everyone in the house – I want someone as friendly as I am. If we go to a party, I want to know that she is good there, she entertains everyone. And if I hear a big laugh and she’s in the middle of, I know I’ve chosen the right woman.
You’ve been quite open about how your relationship with the Victoria’s Secret model Shanina Shaik Damaged you. What can you tell us about that?
It turned into something like a soap opera. And no one really wanted to hear my side. I was madly in love, and I never broke my heart like that before.
You dated for a long time, 2008 to 2015. Did you think she was the one?
I was like, I’m getting married! A month before we broke up, I met Vice President Cartier, and I told him I had this amazing woman I wanted to marry and I knew the ring. So I had these great plans, and (the cut) was a fine blow. Honestly, it took three, four years to come over it and start going back in the dating pool. I went into a defense method of wanting to be in my shell, not wanting to go anywhere, not socialize, without being seen even for a while.
Is it true that Naomi Campbell helped you through it?
He told me: “You are an icon, and you only need to get back out there.” And for me, it was time. I think time is the best healer of every wound. I have nothing against (Shaik). I still love her from afar, but I’ve never been in the same room since we broke up. I don’t get tearful or choked now, but I feel something a little.
You seem to be a more sensitive man than we all imagined …
I had a friend telling me, “Don’t let me hold you crying again!” That was difficult. And that’s when I realized I couldn’t be so emotional. The world sees you like this Loverman, Mr Playboy, and it’s so crazy that I’m not that person really. I like long walks on the beach. I like sunset; Sunrises are beautiful. So I know now I’m not the big, harder Macho guy everyone makes me out to be. I’m a sweet, loving man. And on the show, that helps me connect with the vulnerability of the women and their presence and sweetness as well.
Let’s talk about some of the other famous women you’ve been involved in in the past. Did you date foxy brown?
I didn’t. She was always a friend, but she had a girlfriend, Baby stepA big reggae artist who was my friend, so that (rumors) was a kind of wonder.
What about Carmen Electra?
She actually dated my friend Dennis RodmanSo no, I was always friends.
Kim Kardashian?
Yes, it was three days. It was Paris Hilton who introduced us. She was like, “I had this friend. She got a big boot!” (Kim) was breaking up with Ray J. at the time. She seems to not remember him, but okay. I am probably forgotten?
We don’t believe that! Coming from the fashion world, is it important to you that you are dating someone tastefully?
Well, I had one before saying I control, because I would, “Girl, don’t wear that. Wear the shorter one!” I’m that guy who is like, “You go out with the girls? Oh, don’t wear that. You look like a mother -gu. Put this on. This is sexy. Go on there!”
What are your non -negotiation?
I would want to make sure they are not in surgeries of any kind, Brazilian barrel lifts, things like that. And then I told
The producers I don’t want anyone with lips more than fish or mine, because mine is naturally. I wanted a natural, really, active woman. And they came back with so much, it was abundant.
Are you a good partner?
I can’t say I’m perfect but I work to be the best I can be. One day I want to be someone’s husband.
You really look to settle down?
I would love to get married. My life plan was to be married before 30, four or five children before 35, and did not work out. I think I’m putting too much emphasis on being great in my job. I had a heart-to-heart conversation with my son the other day and I said there were a lot of things I lost because I was at work, and if I had to do over, (I would).
It’s all grown up now. Do you want more kids?
I want to push baby strollers and change diapers. I feel I have a baby fever again. That doesn’t mean I’m running around – I don’t Nick Cannon! I want to be in a firm relationship with someone I really care about. I don’t care if they are in the industry or not, but it would be kind of good if they are in the industry so they get it.
Has doing the show taught you anything new about relationships?
One of the things I’ve learned is being around sensitive to how a woman feels. When she gets home, you have to have some flowers for her, ask for her day, rub her feet, get that glass of wine already. Those are the things we need
