4 killed, including officer in Midtown’s attack

A police officer in New York is one of the four people killed during a multi-storey Manhattan.

Police said the militant on Monday entered the office building with Mr. before spraying bullets in the lobby and on the top floor. Then he took his life.

Shooting – at the center of the US population – sent pedestrians running for cover when police warned about an active militant around 1830. Those who were in the building were subjected to fire as firearms – some even harvest sofas and chairs to the door when they hid in the offices.

Police notice that the suspect, 27 -year -old Shane Devon Agra, traveled from the Las Vegas, but the motif is unclear.

Among the killed was the New York officer Didarul Islam, who worked in the building during the attack. The other three victims have not yet been determined.

New York Police Commissioner Jessica Tish said the suspect entered the 345 Park Avenue building, including the National Football League (NFL) and the Blackstone investment management company, and immediately opened fire.

He deadly shot Mr. Islam in the lobby of the building, and then aimed at the woman who hid the cover behind the pillar. He continued the lobby, “sprayed” by his fire, striking several people – including a guard hiding at the table, and another man nearby.

When he waited for the elevator, the woman left, but the militant regretted her and released her, said Commissioner Tish.

He made his way to the 33rd floor – where Ruden’s construction is located – and re -opened the fire – killing one man before going down the hall and shooting at the chest, she added to the press conference on Monday.

The authorities are not sure of the motives, although Tish noted that the militant “documented the history of mental health.”

Over the past few days, he traveled from Las Vegas to the eastern coast, stopping at Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa and New Jersey. He arrived in New York shortly before the shooting. It is unclear whether it has a connection with New York, a building, or a Ruden construction.

Police searched the BMW suspect he had a double analysis and found several tours of the magazines and revolver. The car was registered in Nevada in the then registered weapon owner in the state.

Local authorities and authorities celebrated Islam officer on Monday. “He died when he lived – the hero,” said Ms Tish.

The officer of the department has been an immigrant from Bangladesh for three years. He and his wife have two children, and his wife is currently pregnant with his third child.

“He was doing the job we asked him to do,” said Ms Tish. “He made the final sacrifice.”

The incident stopped parts of Manhattan Midtown and public transport. The BBC journalist said at the scene that seeing dozens of police cars and at least one person with a bloody breast, picking up on a stretcher.

The reports reported that they sounded like shots, and the police told those in the area, including the BBC journalist, lean in nearby buildings.

Police worked on the floor on the floor to clean the clock.

Bucheni’s mom, who works in the adjacent SIP & SCOOP cafe when the incident unfolded, reported the BBC that she saw dozens of people from the surrounding buildings evacuated.
