Star Trek has announced details on a long-awaited new show. The most confusing thing about it is that they are still to do it. The announcement takes place this weekend at the San Diego Comic con, and the series is Starfleet Academy.
The show is yet another Star Trek: Discover spinoff. That’s right, they create a spinoff out of the worst Star Trek Series Of all time, a show that didn’t have a score and was recently canceled. With Disco cancel and complete failure of the Disco Spinoff’s movie Section 31you would think someone is Of the weighting could have picked up their Hand saying, “Hey, is this still a good idea?”
Probably no one did.
Meanwhile, Paramount has canceled all its successful and acceptable Trek Star Products. Star Trek: Picard Season 3 had a huge score and a tremendous positive response, but Paramount put the team behind it.
Star Trek: Lower DecksBeloved by fans, he was canceled and has now been done.
Star Trek: Prodigywho had a large fan support and great reviews, canceled after just one season.
More recently, Star Trek: A strange new worldsGetting good scales and positive scores, also canceled. The show will end after its fifth season.
We get Starfleet Academy instead of a show starring characters from Star Trek: Discover and also the doctor’s hologram of Star Trek: Travel.
