Partly shot in the Alps and partly at the Mt. Foundation Camp. Real Everest, Ever conveys the dangerous beauty of the Himalayas. The snow and icy peaks scratch the clouds, and you can feel the blistering winds in practice. The danger feels real – and in fact, there was an avalanche on Everest during the filming of the film that killed multiple people, though none of the Ever A movie crew or cast members were damaged, according to Close.
Despite the danger, there is no arguing that the Himalayan is shocking. They are trapped beautifully in this movie by a cinematographer Salvatore Totino and director Baltasar Kormákur. While the terrors experienced by the characters of this film may be discouraged from going to Mt. Everest yourself, you will be glad you have seen it.
