Adam Sandler Having been a comedian and actor for more than 30 years – and for much of that time, he has also been a dedicated family man behind the scenes.
He married Adam Jackie Sandler in 2003, and the couple welcomed their two daughters, Sadie and sunnyin 2006 and 2008, respectively. He didn’t take much time before Adam started putting the two girls in his movies.
“(My daughters) make him look like I force them to do that,” joking Adam in an October 2020 appearance Drew Barrymore Show. “In the meantime, they asked me the whole year, ‘may I be in your next movie, Daddy?’”
Sadie and Sunny went on to appear in two of Adam’s 2023 movies: You will not be invited to my mitzvah bat and the animated film Plow. In July 2025, the duo also appear in Happy Gilmore 2 alongside their father (and with a short Chameo from their mother).
“Once they do it well, nothing feels better as a parent,” shared Adam with A! News Before the sequel for the first time on Netflix. “It must be like when you are the parents of a baseball player and you’re in the game and they’re hit. You go, ‘thank God.’ It’s so much relief. ”
