Speaking to Sky Sports, Nasser Hussain praised Crawley, who marked 84 runs from 113 balls, saying that the leadership of the England team really likes it because he is able to play big times. Said:
“He (Crawley) likes this terrain, his record here is excellent. He scored a great 180 against Australia the last time he beat here. He adapts to his game: he reaches the bat and hits the line.
“Often do fans” Crawley again? “But you can see why (England) like him for Australia (this winter).
“In Australia you have a wide variety of launches, but this is similar to some of those you will see there: rhythm, rebound, a good cricket ground.”
Meanwhile, Michael Atherton praised Ben Duckett, who fell six runs from his hundred to Old Trafford in Manchester. He said that Ben Duckett has been excellent since he obtained periodic opportunities internationally. Atherton stated:
“Duckett has been such a good player since he returned to the team after an international career stopped in his first days.
“He is now flourishing through the formats, and he and Crawley have India under pressure here.”
