Resignation Vice -President of India causes political speculation

The sudden resignation of India’s Vice President Jagdip Dankhar on Monday night caused the assumption that it caused the move.

Dakhankar, also the chairman of the upper house of parliament, announced the resignation on the first day of the monsoon session, citing health problems.

The Bharati ruling party Jonatia (BJP), which nominated him, has not yet commented on her resignation.

But many opposition leaders expressed a surprise during the course, and one MP said that it was more “as it meets with their eyes.”

The 74 -year -old Dankhar took over in August 2022 and was launched until 2027.

On Monday, Dankhar ruled Rajja Sabha – session – session and swore new members.

He also received a message about the impeachment against Judge Jashwant Varma, signed by more than 50 deputies after opening cash at the judge’s house earlier this year. Warma’s justice denied any violations by his or his family.

Dankhara’s official schedule listed a visit to the Western city of Jaipur on Wednesday as a vice -president.

But on Monday night, he presented a letter of resignation to President Drupady Murma, saying he wants to “prioritize health care and medical advice.”

“It was a privilege and pleasure to testify and participate in the excellent economic progress of India and the unprecedented exponential development during this significant period. The service of this transformation era of our country’s history became a true pride,” Danakar said in a letter.

The sharp step directed pulsations through political circles, some noted that they talked to Dankhar a few hours before his resignation.

“What’s going on in this government?” – asked Ananda Dubia, a press secretary of the Shiv Sena Party (UBT).

“Such a decision came without proper consultation and discussion. If health was concerned, the resignation could be submitted a few days before the session or even after,” he said.

Manish TEWARI, Member of the Main Party of the Congress of India, called this step “quite unexpected”.

“Undoubtedly, Mr. Dankhar must give his priority to his health,” he said.

“But obviously, he has a much more unexpected resignation than it meets with the eye.”

Jiri Ramesh, another MP of Congress, called the resignation of Dakhan “unprecedented”.

He also pointed to the absence of two ministers from the meeting of the Advisory Committee, headed by Danakar, which was supposed to take place on Monday afternoon.

Ramesh said that Dakhankar personally did not report their absence and took the “leaves” before postponing the meeting on Tuesday.

“The resignation of Jagdip Dakhankar speaks of him. It also talks badly about who first chose his vice -president,” he added.

Dahankar, a lawyer by profession, first entered politics as a deputy from Rajastan’s place in Gundjun in 1989.

In 2003, he joined the BDP and continued to head the party’s legal department. In 2019, he was appointed Governor of West Bengal, where he was often in loggers with a state -ruled state -run Trinamola Congress.

He resigned as the governor in 2022 after the VSP nominated him by the Vice President.

In March, Dankhar survived angioplasty in Delhi, but quickly resumed his duties and remained active in parliament.

The Vice President is now vacant, his duties will probably be resolved by the deputy chairman Raja Sabhi or other member appointed by the president.
