Jane Seymour is thankful for her safety after her home came into contact with the California wildfires last week.
“I’m very grateful, very relieved,” said 73-year-old Seymour Us Weekly only at the American Ballet Theater Annual Benefit in Los Angeles on Monday, December 16. “It’s interesting, you have a kind of post-traumatic numbness. It’s like, ‘Did that really happen?’ And he did.”

The James Bond star explained after she saw how the fires had affected other members of her community, she realized how lucky she was that her home was still standing.
“Driving around Malibu and looking at all the burnt remains is not fun,” he said. “But considering what could have happened, we were all very lucky.”
The actress is loved for her appearance in the popular western series Quinn, Medical Woman, Dr. which lasted for six seasons in the ’90s. Seymour’s portrait of Dr. Michaela Quinn – a doctor who leaves Boston in search of adventure – a Golden Globe award for her in 1996 for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series, Drama.
After CBS canceled the show in 1998, many fans were disappointed and, decades later, still long for a revival.
When asked if there were any current plans for a reboot, Seymour replied, “Not that I know of.”
“I’m in the middle of my own series at the moment, Wild Harry,” he explained. “So, we’ve been doing that, and I did a Christmas film a couple of years ago with her Joe Lando.”
However, the actress pointed out the possibility of a reunion between the two. “So people are actively trying to find more material for us to do together,” he told Us. “Whether it’s Quinn or something else. We love working together.”
Although Seymour Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman She and costar are now on good terms, according to Seymour they didn’t get along while filming the show because it happened right after they dated in real life.
“We didn’t really talk to each other, other than in dialogue or making out for about six or seven years,” Seymour previously reported Us in an interview in 2019.
Seymour went on to explain that the pair “couldn’t be together” in “real life.” Despite the tension, Lando later became her “closest friend on the planet.”
