The American technology company says its manager refused after he was reportedly hitting a big screen at a ColdPlay concert that covers the woman in a video that became a viral.
Astronomer said in a statement: “Andy Bayron has filed a resignation, and the Board of Directors accepted.”
The video showed a man and a woman who hugged on the giant screen in Foxbara, Massachusetts, before they abruptly oppressed and hid out of the camera.
The couples were identified in American media as Andy Bayron, married Astronomer CEO, and Christine Kabot, the main public service of the firm. BBC could not independently confirm the identity of any person in the video.
The company’s statement said on Saturday: “As mentioned earlier, the astronomer strives for the values and culture that managed us after our founding.
“It is expected that our leaders will set the standard in both behavior and accountability, and recently this standard has not been fulfilled.”
The firm said his council will start searching for the next leader, and their main director for the products will fulfill the duties of the CEO.
Video pairs swayed for music at a concert on Wednesday night and quickly tried to hide millions of views.
Seeing Duck’s couples, Coldplay soloist Chris Martin said the crowd, “Either they have a novel, or they are just very shy.”
The astronomer announced that he launched an investigation into the relationship and put the CEO on vacation shortly after the video became viral.
