Valerie Bertinelli Looks back at her relationship with her late mother in a moving social media tribute.
Follow To Instagram On Friday, July 18, the actress shared a picture of her workplace, and noted the latest decoration addition – a photograph of her mother Nanc who died in 2019 at the age of 82 of rheumatoid arthritis.
“I recently added a photo of my mum,” headed Bertinelli, 65, the post. “Here she is 18, I think. Isn’t she beautiful?”
As she continues the header, the One day at a time Alum reflected on her grief and how much she lost her mother.
“I’ve been talking to her a lot lately. I know she’s hearing me. I can feel her, but I wish she were here so I could see her in her eyes,” she wrote. “There was so much left unpaid when she was alive. My care has passed, but hopefully she knew so much.”
Bertinelli also explained the contents of an inspirational extract placard in her workplace, which was sitting next to the picture of her mother.
“I’ve had this quote ‘Life doesn’t put things in front of you that you can’t handle’ for what feels forever, always sitting there, always reminding me,” wrote Bertinelli.
He added, “He has proven to be quite true. Life may sometimes feel incredibly difficult and challenging, but I always go through it. And the happier, peaceful times are much bigger than the difficult ones.”
Bertinelli has admitted in the past that she is often a pretty reflective person. After sharing news about a new relationship with Mike Goodnough In April 2024, she posted for her gratitude for the support of her supporters after going for a walk to reflect on the feeling.
“When I go on my walks, I do a lot of reflecting. Despite the fan support for the relationship, Bertinelli and Goodnough called it quit 10 months later.
