The former Wicker Sparinger Deep Dasgupta has suggested a change in India’s interpretation for the fourth test of the five-game series against England. Dasgupta stated that Sai Sudharsan should come to Karun Nair, who has not become a heading of significant scores and has not been confident in the fold.
Karun Nair, who returns to the test team after eight years, has struggled to have an impact. It has only marked 131 runs to an average less than 22 all and start in five of its six entrances. The batter on the right hand has found it difficult to handle an additional rebound, especially those that increase in good length.

“In XI interpretation, you do not want more than one change. If there is only one, I would replace Karun Nair with Sai Sudharsan. Because Karun Nair has not made a shot. He has begun, but he has not turned them into great scores. I also think he does not seem comfortable with the fold,” said Dasgupta.
Invest in someone like Sy Sudharson – Deep Dasgustter
Deep Dasgupta said that India should look at the future by giving Sai Sudharsan more possibilities of the ongoing series. He added that it would be wiser to support a younger player like Sudharsan, especially without a clear timeline for the next India test tour in England.
“Sai Sudharsan is a young player. If you want to invest in this series of England, you prefer to invest in a younger player. Karun Nair has started in both trial games, but it has not seemed so convincing,” said Dasgupta.
“So if you want to build -you go ahead, you could also invest in someone like Sai Sudharsan. Because after that, I don’t know when you will return to a series of England.”
India aims to level the series in the next Test of Manchester, which is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, July 23 at the Old Trafford of the Emirates of Manchester.
