Motorists saved when new flood warnings hit Central Texas

The threat of additional rain has led to various flood warnings in Central Texas. Last weekend, several motorists were rescued after arriving into high water.

The National Weather Service predicts thunderstorms that can produce “excessive precipitation and potential floods”. The warning pushed Carr’s officials to ask rescuers to stop search operations on the victims of the deadly floods that took place in the Texas -Hill region just over a week ago.

This floods killed at least 132 people, and dozens were reported missing.
