Dexter: Resurrection He began a strong start with the son of the fictional serial murderer, Harrison, a body dismembering in one of the most light scenes of the franchise again.
During the premiere of the series, broadcast on Sunday, July 13, Dexter’s (Michael C. Hall) A son now lives in New York City after apparently killed his father at the end of Dexter: New Blood. Harrison (Jack Alcott) Do not know that Dexter survives and is dotted with guilt while working in a luxury hotel.
Despite trying to curb his murderous side, Harrison seizes when one of the guests tries to sexually assault a woman. Harrison kills the guest to prevent it from damaging More women in the future, which leads to a sequence where the body is dragged to another part of the hotel to break it up and dispose of it.
“That was a crazy day. Anything with many practical effects is always just as exciting and scary. There are many literal things to work with,” Alcott, 26, was told only Weekly US. “I remember the first time to see the body and see the parts and be like, ‘Oh my God.’ I do not know how you respond to that.
Spinoff Showtime to the original Dexter The show did not hold back when it came to the horrific details.
“Once we started shooting, the choreography for that sequence was very specific. There were many inserts and seeing different pieces of this knife. Obviously there are wide shots and all sorts of other angles. “From the order of parts (breaking up the body), how the knife moves here before it goes up here and also to make sure you hide that blood trench because we’re going to see something shooting out.”
The actor found that he was quite technical, adding, “(we were keeping track of) from the order in which the parts enter the trash bags and the way the knot is tied on the body bag. So the experience of shooting it, I feel I was almost completely experienced because I was so zero in the task.”
Alcott found the experience challenge in the best way possible.
“Fortunately and ironically, it is exactly where Harrison is. It is almost as if he was not experiencing. He stars in on the task in question and completes what needs to be completed,” he noted. “Only after doing it we see his response to what he has just taken part in.”
After revenge on the role of Harrison, in which he originated Dexter: New BloodAlcott reflected on the unconventional lessons he learned from play Evolutionary serial killer.
“Putting yourself in the character’s shoes, you learn something on each set. You learn something from every story you tell. Because even if it’s a story or character close to you, that’s not all of you unless you play yourself,” he told us. “So you’re going to experience something new, and you’ll pull something from each set.”
