Chelsea 3-0 Paris Saint-Germain: Report, result, goals, as blues becomes world champions

Chelsea produced an impressive performance to get a 3-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain to win the FIFA 2025 World Club Cup.

A Cole Palmer bracelet and an impressive Joao Pedro finish sealed the victory before the half, leaving PSG stunned and unable to respond despite numerous substitutions in the second half and attempts to change the impulse.

From the first whistle, Chelsea seemed the most aggressive and structured side.

The first possibilities fell to Palmer and Marc Cucurella, with the blues pressing and winners in half PSG.

Its early pressure was rewarded in the 22nd minute when the overlap of Malo Gusto and the Baixa cross found in Palmer in the center of the box. The striker took his chance, shooting a left shot in the lower corner to put the hosts ahead.

Eight minutes later, Palmer doubled his account, this time at the end of a lightning counterattack.

Levi Colwill headed forward and chose Palmer, who again found the net with his left foot, this time sticking it inside the stick with a compound finish.

At 2-0, Chelsea had the full control of the party, despite facing the ruthless European champions.

The French champions sought to gather an answer, with Desire Doue and Joao Neves in Robert Sanchez’s test at Chelsea’s goal.

However, the Spanish goalkeeper was alert and made several key savings throughout the game to keep his sheet clean.

The third and final goal came just before the break. Palmer turned the supplier, listing a smarter ball along the way of Joao Pedro.

The striker did not make a mistake, ending in the upper corner to give Chelsea a 3-0 advantage in the half.

The score was a just reflection of the first half, with the chess chelsea in front of the goal and the PSG that is not characteristic and prone to errors.

The second half saw PSG trying to go his return path with a triple replacement for 73 minutes, introducing Goncalo Ramos, Warren Zaire-Emery and Senny Mayulu in the hope of injecting some urgency.

But Chelsea, driven by his first half rule, remained disciplined and continued to frustrate visitors.

PSG’s frustrations were boiled in the final stages. Joao Neves received a red card in the 86th minute after a VAR review for a violent behavior, reducing visitors to ten men and ending any hope of a comeback.

Nuno Mendes and Ousmane Dembele also showed yellow cards as the temperaments shot, giving one night to forget the side of Luis Enrique.

Palmer was, without a doubt, the star of the show. The form that won the 2025-26 campaign will be the music in the ears of the fans of the Chelsea, as they seek a challenge of the title of the Premier League.
