EU trading ministers should meet on Monday in Brussels to discuss how strong the line to take with Washington.
German Finance Minister Lars Kalingbel said on Sunday that “serious and oriented negotiations” with the United States still needed, but added that if they did not receive, the EU would need “decisive measures to protect jobs and enterprises in Europe”.
