The season of the Premier League India (IPL) 2025 was an exciting chapter in the world of cricket, marked by intense competition and unexpected results.
For the fans who participate Cricket IPL betsThe season offered many surprises, as some teams increased, while others struggled to find their foot.
With 10 teams competing in between 74 games, the first four: the Titans of Gujarat (GT), the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), the kings of Punjab (PBKs) and the Mumbai (MI) Indians – said in the playoff plates, while others failed. The bottom of the table revealed the weakest performers: Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
Known for its consistency under Ms. Dhoni’s leadership in previous seasons, the CSK campaign was affected by the lack of cohesion. Despite having Noor Ahmad, who finished second in the purple cap in the IPL 2025 race with 24 doctors, his battle unit failed to deliver constantly. The first departure of the Playoff containment team was a clash, with only two wins in its first five games, as observed in the updates in early April. Their inability to adapt to the T20 format of high pressure, together with a weak medium order, saw them throw them at the bottom of the IPL 2025 points, a rare minimum for the franchise.
Despite encouraging young talents like Sanju Samson and adding experienced players like Jofra Archer to auction, RR did not take advantage of their potential. Its campaign was unloaded by inconsistent performances, especially in the battle. A remarkable loss to RCB by 12 runs at home underlined its struggles, as mentioned in a report of April 2025. The RR finished with only 8 points, occupying the eighth place in the IPL 2025 points, despite avoiding the wooden spoon due to a slightly better clean clean rate (NRR) than SRH and CSK.
With only two wins from five games at the beginning of the season, SRH struggled to find impetus. His bowls, despite Harsh Durey’s contributions, could not compete with the tastes of Prasidh Krishna by GT, who won the purple cap at IPL 2025 with 25 doctors. Batting’s discomfort by SRH were evident, without any player who had a prominent way in the Orange Cap race. His loss to GT by seven doctors in Hyderabad further highlighted his inability to defend or pursue competitively.
After winning his third title in 2024, the KKR campaign was revealed, culminating in its elimination during the league stage. Despite a strong configuration of domestic coach and players like Venkatesh Iyer, who won € 23.75 at the auction, KKR could not replicate his past success. A party washed against the RCB cost them a crucial point and their loss by GT away affected their possibilities.
LuckNow Super Giants, led by new Captain Rishabh Pant, showed his promise, but was reduced to the Playoff rating. With a strong alignment of battles with Nicholas Polan and David Miller, LSG started well, with Polan at the helm of the Orange race with 201. However, his campaign decreased in the crucial final stages, with losses to GT and PBKs that sealed the destination. The LSG bowler, directed by Ravi Bishnoi and Mayank Yadav, did not have the depth to constantly challenge the most important teams.
