Doctors have warned about the inevitable catastrophe at the largest functional gas hospital because of the critical fuel deficit and the expansion of Israeli abusive in the southern city of Khan Yunis.
Nasser medical complex was forced to stop receiving patients on Thursday when witnesses stated that Israeli troops and tanks went to the cemetery 200 m (660 feet) and fired to nearby families. The forces were reportedly departed on Friday after several areas were dug.
Medical staff and dozens of patients in intensive care remain in the hospital where fuel deficit threatens to stop life services.
The Israeli military was not an immediate comment.
However, on Friday morning, it is said that the armored brigade operated in Han UNIS to disassemble the “terrorist infrastructure” and confiscated weapons> earlier issued orders for evacuation to the areas around the hospital.
The witness told the BBC that on Thursday Israeli tanks, accompanied by excavators and bulldozers who moved from the south of the cemetery near the Nasser Hospital.
The witness stated that the tanks fired shells and bullets when they moved to the area, which used to be agricultural land, and several tents belonging to the displaced families, the witness said. Videos shared on the Internet showed a plume of dark smoke raised from the area.
The witness added that the Israeli fourth drones also fired at the tents in the towers of the Nassavi and Al-Mavasi areas to force the residents to evacuate. Another video was shown by dozens of people running on the cover when the gun arose.
One -two civilians who stood at the hospital gate were injured by wandering bullets.
Meanwhile, medical staff at the hospital sent reports to local journalists, expressing their fear. “We still work in the hospital. Tanks are a few meters. We are closer to death than to life,” they wrote.
On Friday morning, the locals said Israeli tanks and troops stretched out of the cemetery and other areas close to the hospital.
The pictures that were shared on the Internet later on this day showed that deep trenches dug into sandy ground, flattened buildings, burnt tents and crushed vehicles recruited.
Nasser staff said he estimates whether they could restore the patient’s reception.
On Wednesday, they warned that the hospital was very close to the complete shutdown from the critical fuel deficit.
They stated that electricity generators are expected to function another day, despite significant efforts to reduce electricity consumption and limit electricity only the most critical departments, including intensive therapy and neonatal units.
If the authorities came out completely, dozens of patients, especially those dependent on IVL, “would be in a direct danger and face a certain death,” the hospital added.
On Thursday, an Israeli military official told Reuters that about 160,000 liters of fuel intended for hospitals and other humanitarian institutions have been in gas from Wednesday, but the fuel distribution is not responsible for the army.
There is a deficit of critical medicines, especially related injuries.
During the visit to the Nasser Hospital last week, A representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) called it a “one massive traumatist”.
Dr. Rick Pipercorn stated in the video that an object that usually had a capacity of 350 beds was heard about 700 patients, and that the depleted staff worked 24 hours a day.
Over the past four weeks, the director and doctors have suffered hundreds of injuries, most of them are associated with incidents around the distribution sites, he added.
“There are many boys, young teenagers who die or receive the most serious injuries because they try to get food for their families,” he said.
Among them was a 13-year-old boy who was shot dead, and now a tetropic and a 21-year-old man who has a bullet in the neck, as well as a tetrapegic one.
On Friday, 10 people who sought help were killed by Israeli military fire near the place of help distribution in the neighboring southern city of Rafa. Israel’s defense forces (IDF) have not commented.
Meanwhile, the northern gas commander Hamas was among the eight people who died as a result of an Israeli airflow ticket ticket, and families in Jabalia were displaced, a local BBC source said.
Jada Nasr, who headed the Battalion of Jabalia al-Nazla, died with his family, including several children, and an assistant when two rockets got to class at the Halim al-Saady school, the source reports.
Another commander Hamas, Hassan Maria, and his assistant were killed in a separate airstrike in the apartment at the Al-Shatsi refugee camp, west of Gaza.
This happens when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said a new ceasefire and hostage release could be a few days after a four-day trip to the United States.
Before returning from Washington on Thursday night, he told NEWSMAX that the proposal allegedly see how Hamas releases half of 20 living hostages he was still holding and just over half of 30 hostages during a 60-day truce.
“So, we will have 10 live and about 12 dead hostages (left), but I will also pull them out. I hope we will be able to complete it in a few days,” he added.
However, the Palestinian official said the BBC that the indirect talks in Qatar were stopped and the points, including the distribution of assistance and Israeli troops.
The Israeli military launched a campaign in Gaza in response to the attack under the guidance of Hamas on South Israel on October 7, 2023, which killed about 1,200 people and took 251 people hostage.
At least 57,762 people have been killed in Gaza since then, the Ministry of Health reports.
