“It was a dream,” Pedro says after his double for Chelsea

Joao Pedro called his first start for Chelsea ‘A Dream’ after shooting his new club in the Club World Cup final.

He said to Dazn, “I think it was a dream. I don’t think it could have been better. Two goals. Now we have to think about the final. Today I am very happy to score two goals.

“I am happy to score my first goal for Chelsea, but I also know that this tournament is very important for Fluminense. I can only say forgiveness, but I have to be professional. I play Chelsea. They pay to score goals and today I have been happy to score.”

Chelsea will now play Real Madrid or PSG Champions League winners in the Sunday final, and Joao Pedro hopes to win his first important trophy instantly with the Blues.
