Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the most lively airport in the world.
The airport, which is the largest center of Delta Air Lines, has processed more than 108 million passengers in 2024, according to a statement published today by the international world of the airport council.
However, this is another 2% less passengers than at the airport, processed in 2019.
The number of passengers in the second use of the airport at the Dubai International Airport last year increased by almost 7% from pandemic levels, the rating showed.
The airport is also headed by a separate list that analyzes airports processing the most international passengers. In 2024, about 92.3 million passengers – all international ones – went through the door.
In 2024, the world passenger movement reached a record high, and about 9.4 billion people traveled through the air, the report said. This is about 8.4% more passengers than in 2023, and 2.7% more than in 2019.
The most lively airports in the world, common passengers are:

The US has six airports in the list of 20. For the first time after the pandemic, three airports in China – Shanghai (PVG), Guangzhou (CAN) and Beijing (PEK) – returned to the top -20 ratings.
Despite Ranking Among the World’s Busiest Airports, Major Airports in Seven Cities have Yet to see the number of Pre-Koviders Return, Including Atlanta (-2.2%), Chicago (-5.4%), Los Angeles (-13%), Paris (-7.7%), Singapore (-0.9%), beijing (-32.6%), Amsterdam (-6.8%) and Bangkok (-4.9%).
Global passenger traffic is projected to grow to 9.9 billion in 2025, despite the sustainable problems of the industry related to economic uncertainty, geopolitical closure of the airspace and delays of the aircraft, the airport council reported.
