On monday, bluesky announced Three updates to improve notifications, allowing users to personalize their experience while the decreases its notification center and reduce unnecessary leerts.
Updates include the ability to receive activity notifications for specific accounts, as well as options to adjust the notice preferences to control which alerts you receive. For example, the users can choose to be notified only when certain accounts respond to them.

Users can handle their activity notifications in settings, remove the accounts from its list if they were not as receiving the updates.
A caveat is that accounts can turn off this feature, which means that users may not be able to activate the activity for each account they wanted to follow. Account owners can also activate activity notifications for only people who follow.
