Tia and Tamera Mowry celebrate 47th anniversary with sweet tributes

Twin sisters Tay and Tamera mowry Singing in their shared birthday by celebrating each other.

On Sunday, July 6, Tia shared three pictures including himself, his sister and their brothers Tajh and Tavern via Instagram. “And just like that we are 47,” he wrote.

Tamera also noted the big day on social media through a series of collage workmanship and throwing pictures of herself and Tia was shared on Instagram.

” – Happy 47th birthday to my twin, Tia! It’s crazy to think we’ve been making life together for 47 years,” he wrote “from the silly moments to the difficult ones, you’ve always had this decision to keep going and grow – no matter what life throws your way.”

He continued, “I love you more than words can say. This is for us, to sisterhood, and spend our birthday today! Together.”

The sisters have been through many together since their cult classical TV series Sister, sister Debuted in April 1994 – and that has sometimes included periods where they were not so close.

“I’ve always wanted the family dynamics of having a mum and dad in one home. When you drop your children away, you actually see visually how it’s no longer,” he said. “Being alone has been the most challenging part of my divorce.”

He continued, “It’s times like this when I feel and want my sister and I still close and I could pick up the phone and call it, but that’s not where we are at the moment.”

But in November 2024, Tamera make it clear There was no drama with his sister. Speaking about her family’s plans for the Christmas holidays when she said she and her husband had invited Tia to spend the time with them.

“My husband and I have been doing this since we were together, so it’s about 20 years,” he explained. “We start on Christmas Eve. We invite everyone to our house that may not have a place, their family is not around. We bake cookies and we have a few, it’s not like a big party, but coming together.”

He added, “Every Christmas, we invite our whole family. This year my sister has invited, my brothers, my mother, my dad, almost everyone in the family. And we make Christmas beef. It usually ends being roast beef with mashed potatoes, green beans. These are some of the staples, with a Christmas drink I look for and enjoy each.
