Love Island USA star Austin Shepard Explains his recent social media activity since leaving the villa.
“I want to take a moment to tackle my recent repost that has caused an offense to some of you,” wrote Austin, 26, through his Instagram stories on Saturday, July 5. “As you all know, I have a very dry sense of humor, and I didn’t really think before sharing that content.”

“I recognize that my content choice did not resonate with everyone, and for that, I apologize sincerely,” he added on Saturday. “I am committed to learning from this experience and to be more considerate in the future. Thank you for your understanding and for holding me accountable.”
Austin concluded, “Love you all (a) Thanks so much for an amazing experience.”
Austin was one of the original islanders on season 7 of Love Island USA. He was Dumped earlier this week alongside a fellow competitors Andreina Santos, TJ Palma, Blackmore Gray and Duggar jaden.
After getting his phone back, Austin completed a questioning and answering on his Instagram stories on Friday, July 4, where he responded to one question that was a “racist bigot.”
“I’m going to give this comment just one time because This is, like, mad”Austin said in the video.” Are you f *** ing mute? Like, honestly, are you dumb? Don’t you think? “
Austin appeared to deny the charges, citing one of her tattoo as a test.
“I have a black woman tattooed on my side,” he said. “Use your head.”
Earlier this season, his costar Yulissa Escober She was removed from the villa when there were past insensitive racist comments that she had re -faced on -lein. (Yulissa, 27, has apologized since his comments.)
“I was not dragged out in the dark. I walked out in a wide -loud daylight, lashes on,” said Yulissa in Video Thursday, July 3, Tiktok. “I didn’t wake up in the middle of the night. They didn’t drag my bin out of bed. I was actually becoming comfortable and just came out of my shell because first I was kind of sleepy and shy. Her departure on the show was sparingly referred to by a narrator Iain Stirlingand she briefly mentioned that she had “left the villa” but did not explain the situation further.
