A senior Hamas security officer told the BBC that the Palestinian armed group had lost about 80% of its gas control and that the armed clans are filling the void.

Lieutenant Colonel said the Hamas management and management system collapsed from the months of Israeli strikes who devastated the political, military and safe leadership of the group.

The officer was wounded in the first week of the war, which began after the attack led by Hamas on Israel on October 7, 2023 and has since departed from his duties for health reasons.

He shared several voice messages from the BBC subject to anonymity.

In the reports, the officer painted the image of Hamas’s internal breakdown and the almost total gas safety collapse, which the group ruled to the conflict.

“Let’s be realistic here – there is practically nothing left of the security structure. Most leadership, about 95%, have now died … All active figures were killed,” he said. “So, what prevents Israel to continue this war?”

“Logically, it must continue until the end. All conditions are aligned: Israel has the top, the world is silent, the Arab regimes are silent, criminal groups are being destroyed everywhere.”

Last September, the then Minister of Defects of Israel stated that “Hamas as a military formation no longer existed” and that he was engaged in a guerrilla war.

According to the officer, Hamas tried to regroup during a 57-day ceasefire with Israel earlier this year, reorganizing his political, military and security councils.

But since Israel ended the truce in March, he sent other Hamas command structures, leaving the group in the riot.

“About the safety situation, let me be clear: it has completely fallen apart. Has completely gone. There is no control anywhere,” he said.

“People plundered the most powerful Hamas security unit, whose complex Hamas ruled gas.

“They plundered everything, offices – mattresses, even zinc panels – and no one intervened. Neither the police nor the security.”

The officer said the investigation of the safety vacuum was gangs or armed clans that were “universally”.

“They could stop you, kill you. No one intervened. The one who tried to act on his own as an organization of resistance against thieves was bombed by Israel for half an hour.

“Thus, the security situation is equal to zero. Hamas control is zero. There is no leadership or team, no communication. Wages are delayed, and when they come, they are practically not used. Some die just try to gather them. It’s full of collapse.”

June 26, At least 18 people were killed when an Israeli blow on drones aimed An attempt to claim control over the market in Deir Al-Balah, accusing the providers of price and selling looted assistance, witnesses and doctors said.

The Israeli military said it was impressed by “several armed terrorists” owned by Hamas’s internal security forces.

According to the officer, in this vacuum, six armed groups associated with powerful local clans became serious applicants to fill the void.

These groups have access to money, weapons and men and actively act in all gases, but mostly in the south.

One of them is headed by Jerri Abu Shabab, the figure who caught the attention from the Palestinian administration, which is in the occupied west shore and is an opponent for Hamas, as well as regional players – especially after Israel confirmed that he had supplied him with weapons.

The officer confirmed that Hamas put a great generosity on Abu Shabab’s head, fearing that he could become a united figure for his many enemies.

“Hamas ignores ordinary thieves.

Sources in Gaza said BBC that Abu Shabab was working on coordination with other armed groups to create a joint council aimed at breaking Hamas.

A spokesman for the Palestinian Service of the Palestinian Service, which was in force, which was enlarged on the military wing of Hamas in 1996 after a wave of explosions in Israel, said the Abu -Shabab network was gaining cravings.

“Abu Shababa’s group is like a child – Syrat, whom everyone wants to adopt if he can undermine Hamas’s rule,” said an official who now lives in Cairo.

“Publicly all parties deny references to armed groups in Gaza. But Abu Shabab met a senior Palestinian intelligence officer three times and sent reports to Egyptians through relatives in Sinai,” he said.

He also said that Abu Shabab “maintains good ties with Mohammad Dalan’s camp.” Dalan is a former head of Gaza security, who lived in exile because he fell 15 years ago with the President of the Palestinian Administration Mahmoud Abbas.

Hamas security officer warned that the group “ready to do everything” to exclude Abu Shabab not from his current military force, but because of fear he can become a symbol around which all Hamas opponents are united.

“For 17 years, Hamas has been making enemies everywhere. If someone, like Abu Shabab, can unite these forces, it can be the beginning of the end for us.”

As the gas is immersed in law, when the whole neighborhoods descend into the rules of the gang, Hamas falls not only under the Israeli fire, but more and more surrounded by competitors from the inside.
