The US deported eight people to South Sudan after the legal battle, which saw them distracted in Djibouti for weeks.
Men – convicted of crimes, including murder, sexual violence and robbery – or ended or at the end of prison sentences.
Only one of the eight – from South Sudan. The rest are citizens of Myanmar, Cuba, Vietnam, Laos and Mexico. US officials said most of their countries refused to accept them.
Trump’s administration is working to expand deportations in third countries.
He deported people to Salvador and Costa -Rico. Rwanda confirmed discussions, and Benin, Angola, Equatorial Guinea, Eswatini and Moldova were named in the media as potential -holders.

Officials did not say whether their South Sudan government was detained or their fate would. The country remains unstable and is on the border of the civil war, and the US State Department warns from traveling from “crime, abduction and armed conflicts”.
Initially eight exposed from the US in May but their plane was redirected to Jibout after US District Judge Brian Murphy in Massachusetts blocked deportation. He has ruled that the migrants of deportation to third countries should be reported and the opportunity to talk to the shelter officer.
But last week the Supreme Court sided with the Trump administration and repealed Judge Murphy’s ruling. On Thursday, the Supreme Court confirmed that the judge could no longer require proper hearings, which would continue deportations.
Then the lawyers asked another judge to intervene, but he eventually decided that only Judge Murphy had jurisdiction. Then Judge Murphy said he had no powers to stop removal from the Supreme Court’s decision.

Earlier this year, Secretary of State Mark Rubio withdrew all the visas for the owners of the South Sudan passport, citing the country’s past refusal to accept deported citizens.
