As the authorities and volunteers continue to seek and assist the victims of the devastating floods that swept through part of Texas, different groups and celebrities made donations to charity organizations in the area.
Saturday, Shakira, Colombian singer-Songwriter announced that it donates a portion of the proceeds from its concert on July 5 to San Antonio to support the families affected by the Texan Hill.
“Dear San -Anthonio, our hearts and prayers affected by the Flood in Central Texas,” the singer wrote on X. “We donate part of today’s show, which goes into Catholic charity organizations San -Anthonio, which provide assistance in spontaneous disasters for families.”
Automobile Association United Services Automobile Association, better known as USAA, introduced $ 500,000 to charitable grants to help in search and restoration and activate volunteers to service local communities.

“The destruction and loss we see in Texas is wonderful, and our thoughts and prayers are with all the victims, especially with the families of those who have lost their loved ones and those who are still waiting to hear the news,” said US President and CEO Juan Andrade. “We have been involved in this community for more than 100 years, and we will appear with actions, compassion and willingness to help our neighbors and our members to recover and restore. We are grateful to their first defendants for their constant and tireless efforts.”
The USAA, which provides bank services exclusively for the military, veterans and their families, is based on San -Antonio.

“We are thwarted by the loss and damage that our neighbors in the country Texas -Hill survived. We are particularly devastated to hear about the children who are still missing, and we pray that they are quickly reuniting their families,” said Janis, Hannah and Kal Maknair, the chief of the Franch. “Our hearts will remain with all the victims, and in addition to our donation, we will continue to support efforts to search, rescue and recovery in the coming weeks.”

Community Foundation, a non -profit group in the area, launched a Floodi County Fund. All donations will go to organizations that help an emergency.
As of Saturday evening, at least 43 people were killed, and more than 27 young girls from the mystic camp remain missing when search and rescue operations continue.
