A high -profile British sports agent Jonathan Barnet was charged with rape more than 39 times in the US law.
In a civilian complaint filed in the US District Court in Los -Angeles, an unnamed woman called “Jane Doy”, says Mr. Barnett “sent her” from Australia to the UK in 2017, “tortured it as” sex -rab “for six years.
He says, Mr. Barnett made “repeated threats to her life and the life of her minor children.”
The 75-year-old guy, known for presenting leading football players, including Gareth Bale and Jack Gulish, says the allegations “have no reason to reality and are not true.”
“We will actively defend this lawsuit through the relevant legal process. I look forward to being fully justified and released,” his lawyers said.
Mr. Barnet was recognized as the most powerful sports agent in the world in Forbes.
A civil case was initiated on Wednesday.
According to the court documents, the couple first met in the 1990s through a professional athlete in London and resumed on the Internet and then in 2017.
For a few weeks, she moved to the UK with her children -teenage – with a sports agency Caa Stellar, led by Mr. Barnet, covering the cost of moving.
In the submission, they said that on her arrival, he told her that he “possessed” her and raped her in the hotel room.
Mr. Barnett continued to impose strict rules to follow it all the time, referring to it as “my master” and “never say it hurts,” the lawsuit said.
The complaint continues to describe allegedly degrading, which included urine or feces.
The intended torture also included a woman “linked over the night without food and water”.
She says she was “trading, threatened, tortured and kept” in slavery in different places around the world, including in Los -Angeles, from 2017 to 2023.
“Realizing that she was powerless to a dangerous predator, Ms. Dai filed Barnet to avoid a brutal beating or even killed,” the lawsuit said.
Jane Doya also sues Hollywood firm Talent Creative Agertists and the CAA Stellar Sports Agency, where Mr. Barnet was a retirement chairman last year.
In court, the CAA Stellar Mother’s Company documents, ICM and CAA talents were unable to find and/or intentionally ignore “that significant payments were made between 2017 to 2023, despite the fact that a woman is not an athlete or agent.
It claims that the barnet called her “slave” in the electronic letters sent from his work account.
The court documents say that Mr. Barnett used his “money and power to maintain forced control” over a woman who “feared her life and the life of her children.”
Jane Dow’s lawyers say the case is “institutional abuse at the highest level”.
They are looking for compensation on her behalf.
According to La Times, CAA said he first heard the accusation of a woman last year when her attorneys made requirements for settlement – and asked the press.
“While the complaint tries to connect these accusations to the CAA business, Ms Dai has never been an employee, consultant or contractor CAA, ICM or Stellar, and she never had business communication with CAA, ICM or star,” CAA said in her statement.
“CAA perceives any accusations in this nature seriously, and through the lawyer promptly urged Ms. Dai to contact law enforcement agencies in the United Kingdom.”
