Selecting only four players to represent the pinnacle of cricketing’s greatness is not a small feat. All times of the sport were grateful for legends – in bowling bowls, bowls and off -road, which left a lasting impact on the game. Former captain of England Alastair Cook Recently assumed this difficult task, calling his staff “Cricket Mount Rushmore” In a video shared by Stick to Cricket. Cook’s list, however, increased his eyebrows as he did not have a single Indian cricketter.
Cook based his selections only on players with whom he played or against, making it a more personal list instead of being based on statistics or based on the legacy. For the Blend, he chose the legend of the western Indies Brian Laraahead of Australia Ricky ponting.
“It’s so hard between Lara and Ponting … but I have to go to Brian Lara. I have never seen Genius like this.” said cook.
When it was Bowling, Cook named his former teammate and close friend James Anderson.
“Better ballist … I go to one of my best friends James Anderson. I just think the longevity is one thing, but the ability I had and the ability to play for as long as I did, can be my bowl”, Added to cook.
As for the whole, COOK is considered initially Ben Stokes For his ability to change play, but he finally chose the South African legend Jacques Kallis.
“In fact, an easy thing … I think Stokesey (Ben Stokes) must be right there in terms of changing things in play, but Jacques Kallis. The number of runs he scored was incredible, and then he set up with the fact that he has more than 200 test doctors and trapped as the flies in the sliding. It can be the best I have seen,” Cook explained.
Cook still acknowledged that Stokes included him as the “spare player”, praising the heroation of English in pressure situations and the big game temperament.
“The spare player, then I will have Ben Stokes. A game changing change and played some of the best tickets I’ve ever seen under the pressure to win big games.” Cook is added more.

Cook, a legend in itself with more than 12,000 tests and a degree decorated in England, made it clear that his teams were based on personal experiences. While subjective, his list reflects the admiration for those who saw near during his game days.
However, the debate on who really belongs to the Mount Rushmore cricket version will continue, and maybe this is the beauty of these conversations.
