Former Cricter Hemang Badi has shown praise at Shubman Gill during his century in the second test of the five -game series against England. Badani said that Gill manages a much younger and less experienced side, unlike the ancient captains virating Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who led seated teams.
Shubman Gill continued his good shape with the bat, guiding India to a decent position on the 1st of the second test against England in Edgbaston on Wednesday, July 2. The whisk on the right scored an unmatched 114 of the 216 balls, with the help of 12 limits, before the opening day.
During a discussion about Sony Sports, Hemang Badani said that Shubman Gill has responded to critics who previously questioned his ability to perform in Seine (South Africa, England, New Zealand, Australia). Badi said Gill is showing maturity and composition as he headed from the front.

“Before this season, there were many discussions that did not mark the races in the Seine countries. He let the bat speak. He marked a century in the first game and a century in this party. As he says, the captaincy is convenient for some people. The captaincy adapts to him,” said the ex -bate de India.
“I also mean he is the captain of a young team. There is a lot of burden for him. Kohli and Rohit Sharma had an established team. This is an absolutely new team and he knows that he has to do something as a batter. He is managing the pressure very well.”
India collapsed until 211/5, but Gill and Ravindra Jadja, who did not remain at 41 of 67 deliveries, added an unbeaten stand of 99 Runs for the sixth Wicket. India closed the day on 310/5 in its first entrances. Gill had marked 147 in the first test in Leeds.
During the same discussion, India’s formerkeeper Saba Karim said that Shubman Gill surpassed the challenges as a test captain. Karim noted that the fast bowling of England adopted a different strategy against Gill, directing to the collisions more consistent than before.
“What better start did you have as a captain? Shubman had to work hard today (Wednesday). The Pacers in England had a different approach today. They applied different tactics against Shubman Gill. The attack was more inside the bumps and Shubman prepared very well for that.”
Former Indian selector said that the 25 -year -old man managed the English rhythm attack with great control and showed more control as he faced the Filadora Shoaib Bashir. Karim said he deserved the century, but the job is not yet completed.
“He exceptionally denied what the bowls of England offered him. He interpreted once again controlled against Shoaib Bashir. Shubman needed to beat solidly when two doctors had fallen quickly. It was a century he deserved. He built his brilliant blow, although the work is still incomplete,” said Saba.
India is 0-1 in the ongoing tests series against England. England successfully pursued a 371 in the fourth entry goal to record a memorable five -wicket victory, the tenth successful persecution of the history of the tests.
