Kaoru Mitoma has told Brighton & Hove Albion that he wants to stay in the club in the midst of the interest of Bayern Munich, according to reports.
The Japan striker scored 10 goals and accumulated four assists, his best return to the Premier League, as the Seagulls finished eighth.
Brighton rejected the Saudi League club offers in the NASTR in the January transfer window, and it is believed that the 28 -year -old attractive actions have aroused the interest of several clubs in Europe, with the Bayern Munich and the Arsenal who are believed to be admirers.
However, various outlets report that Mitoma has expressed the desire to sign a new contract in Amex.
Its current agreement is until 2027, but the CAP Fabian Hurzeler wants to preserve the services of the wing.
“We try to keep our best players,” Hurzeler told Sky Sports.
“Mitoma played a great season last, but it is only because as a club we worked together. Then you can shine as individuals.

“It’s the most important thing that all players try to understand -Mitoma understood it last season.
“I really want to see him again (for the preseason). We hope to continue working with him, to try to improve him because I still think that his limit is not yet reached.
“This is our job, their work, the work of the whole club to get the best potential of the players and this is what we are looking for in the preseason. I am sure it will be an important part of us.”
On Wednesday, Brighton confirmed the signing of the French defender Olivier Boscagli in a five -year contract by PSV Eindhoven.
