Shawn Porter’s boxing analyst is dismissing Edgar Berlanga as “Fighter One-Nota” Directing -to their WBC title supply Super Middleweight against Hamzah Sheeraz on July 12 Dazn PPV. Porter is choosing the Sheeraz Underdog (21-0-1, 17 kos) to get the discomfort against the favorite Berlanga (23-1, 18 kos) in his 12-round holder at Louis Armstrong Stadium.
Porter sees Berlanga as a limited fighter and believes that Sheeraz will have too much capacity for him to face this struggle. Shawn seems to have formed his vision of Edgar since his loss in Canelo Alvarez in 2024, in which he changed his usual style of struggle and opted for Box.
He may not have seen Berlanga’s next struggle when he returned to his roots and annihilated Jonathan Gonzalez-Ortiz in a first round of the first round. This was Berlanga that struggled in the way it always has, and it looked like pure 24k.
Much is being mounted in the struggle of July 12 for Berlanga and Hamzah. The winner will be in a position to fight Canelo next February. Although Turki Alralikh only mentioned Sheeraz and Chris winner Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn 2 As a run in the bars of Canelo, Berlanga could be put in the slot with a prominent element of Sheeraz.
“It’s a combat canal. “Sheeraz is a very good boxer.”
What goalkeeper tries to say is that Berlanga is loaded on his shots, looking for a eliminated with each punch. With his power, it is the logical thing to do, because we saw in his fight against Canelo Alvarez that is less effective when he is boxing.
In this struggle, Berlanga moved away from the brown and was desperately behind. When he finally returned to his aggressive style, search and destruction on the 12th, he bombed Canelo with shots.
What the fans saw is that if Edgar had struggled like this throughout the fight, he would have demolished Canelo or won a clear decision. The Mexican could not coincide with Belanga’s power and punch production on the 12th, and would have been the case if he had begun earlier.
“He was well against (Carlos) Adames. So, I got Sheeraz to win that one. I think sheeraz will do it. I have respect for Berlanga now that he had no before,” said goalkeeper.
The goalkeeper’s analysis was called into question
It seems that Porter did not see Sheeraz’s struggle against WBC MIDDLEWEIGHT champion Carlos Adames last February. Hamzah did not show “well” in this struggle. On the contrary, he was poor for all the time, being out of the fight the whole fight for Adames.
The judges marked a 12 -round tie, but the boxing world saw a clear victory for the Adames. I saw the struggle and had the adames winning 11-1. You can argue that the Adames should have won 12-0, as there were no rounds that Sheeraz seemed to win.
