Travis Kelce Gives Insight On His Season For Marriage

Travis Kelce it could be head over heels for love Taylor Swiftbut that doesn’t mean he’s automatically willing to walk down the wedding aisle during football season.

During the Wednesday, January 8, episode of his popular podcast “New Heights,” Travis, 35, and his brother Jason Kelce answering a query about fall weddings as part of their “No Dumb Questions” segment.

“I don’t know people who get married in the fall, because of all the weddings I’ve been to – my friends always do it in the summer,” the tight end said in response to a caller who revealed his boyfriend wants to get married in the fall even though he insists he’s “going to be at a football game.”

“You have to be more in sync on things,” Travis added, voicing his concern for the caller’s relationship dynamics and willingness to find common ground. “You have to be willing to, you know, find a weekend where the team doesn’t play well for anybody.”

The Super Bowl champion went on to say that he had “seen weddings in f–king February, I’ve seen weddings everywhere, but the fall… I’m not so sure if the fall is a good wedding season.”

Although Travis and Swift have been mum about their own relationship plans, others in their orbit have been more than willing to chime in on the direction they think the pair’s romance is headed.

In an interview with The Mirror announced Friday, January 3, former NFL corner and pro-bowler Adam “Pacman” Jones Travis and Swift said they were “going to get married” this year, “after football.”

Jones also disputed the conspiracy theory that the pair are not in a “real” relationship. “I think they are in a real relationship,” she said. “I know Trav, because he went to UC. His love (is genuine). When he says he’s with someone, he’s with someone.”

About Travis’ latest ex-girlfriend, Jones added that “he was with her and he found something better and he moved on.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Jones also praised the two for how their relationship has elevated Travis’ position on and off the field. “I love it,” he said. “I wish I was that smart when I was young. What I’m saying is you see how many marketing deals he gets. You see how many shirts he sells.”

Travis and Swift were first linked in September 2023, after the “Anti-Hero” singer was pulled over at a Kansas City Chiefs game. In an interview for TIMEPerson of the Year, Swift, 35, opened up about her relationship for the first time.

“This all started when Travis put me on his podcast very beautifully, which I thought was hell as metal,” he said at the time. “We started hanging out right after that. So, in fact, we had a great deal of time that no one knew, and I’m grateful for it, because we got to know each other. By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple.”
