Gauff, 20, excitedly posted about her friend, Bailey Taylor Brownofficially joining the cast of the upcoming 29th season of The Bachelor.
“I’m sitting!” wrote the tennis star via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, January 7. “Never watched the show before but I will!!!”
Gauff accompanied the post with Brown’s official cast photo for the latest season of the reality series, which includes the first Bachelorette competitor Grant Ellis as the titular Bachelor.

An Atlanta-based social media manager, Brown has had Gauff in his corner for years.
“If you don’t know who Bailey is, you should go follow her because she is literally mine Alix Earle,” Gauff said TikTok video January 2023referring to another mega-popular social media star. “I love her content. She is my friend’s big sister and I love her.”
Per Brown’s own websitegraduated from Kennesaw Georgia State University in 2019 with a bachelor of science in public relations and a minor in apparel and textiles. Since graduating, she has signed with the Select Model Atlanta modeling agency.
According to her Bachelor bio, Brown is 27 years old and “once took a flight just to improve his status with an airline.” She also listed her comfort items as “bread and a heating pad” and dreams of “seeing a polar bear IRL.”
Brown had fun with her polar bear fun fact via her Instagram Story having caused some confusion.

He added, “But you know what it’s been a few years we might need to go to the (ATL) Zoo as soon as it warms up.”

In addition to her friendship with a star athlete, Brown has a surprising connection to professional sports.
Brown is the daughter of a late NBA referee Tony Brownwho died of pancreatic cancer on October 22 aged 55. During his decades-long career in the league, Tony officiated more than 1,100 games.
“I love you and thank you for everything,” Bailey wrote via Instagram following the death of her father. The post included a video of the pair dancing together near a Christmas tree when Bailey was a young girl.
