Play against him is sometimes uncomfortable and, of course, he will lead this team a little far with his winning mentality. But we are ready for it.
“Everyone in the team knows him, but we also dealt with other players on this team, because this team not only consists of Sergio Ramos. We know where they have their weaknesses and where we can do them evil.”
Monterrey has flown under the radar so far, but Kehl says they should not be despised in Atlanta.
He added: “We have worked hard through the group stage. They were not easy games, and Monterrey will not be an easy rival either. But we wait for a different atlant atmosphere, a different time, a special stage and, without a doubt, a lot of emotion and passion around a very good team.
“It is a team that is mainly defined by intensity, duels, attacks, which has not yet lost a game in this tournament and has only given a goal. We look forward to. Of course, we look forward to going further. That is why we will have to stretch -properly.
“I think we have developed in the Games in general and we also improved. But on Tuesday evening we need a real increase in performance, because Monterrey will be hot. For them it is a very special game against us.
“In framework: The stadium will cool, the grass will be very good, I hope we improve again. We have to play a very good game with and against the ball. But above all we have to show the right attitude, because this will be decisive.”
