Todd Chrisley reveals his plans for the future after he and his wife Julie Chrisley were released from prison in May.
The first Chrisley knows best star, 56 During the special ABC News That has been broadcast through Hulu on Sunday, June 29, that he and Julie, 52, hoped to relocate from Nashville back to his native of South Carolina.
“You know, I think we’ll always have a presence in Nashville, but I have a pull for Julie and I to go back to South Carolina – to Charleston – to that area,” said Todd, Per People.
“And we have plans for what we want to do,” he added, teasing his next career movement following his presidential pardon and releasing a prison.
Todd said, “We have hopes of acquiring a hotel – a mansion – there, that we are going to convert into a hotel, and we want to create a show around that.”
Todd and Julie will be back in the spotlight in a New Age reality show focusing on Chrisley’s family. During a press conference on May 30, Todd said he and Julie began filming for the series “Literally the night he arrived (Julie and I).”
The reality television couple were convicted of charges including tax evasion and bank and wire fraud in June 2022, although they had maintained their innocence. Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison, while Julie was sentenced to seven years. The couple were released after receiving pardons from President Donald Trump Late last month.
“We thank God… and God touched President Trump’s heart,” Todd complimentary Trump during Saturday, June 29, Interview on Fox News’ My opinion with Lara Trump. “God led the people to advocate for us. And so I am grateful because every night I would pray that God would return me home to my wife and children. And he did so, so I’m grateful.”
Todd confirmed that he and his family had the opportunity to personally thank Trump in a video call via FaceTime following his release from prison.
“(I told him,) ‘Thank you, you reunited me with my family,” said Todd.
In the same interview, the couple’s daughter Holy savanna27, who advocated for their release, that Trump’s re -election last November was her best opportunity to get her parents out of prison after they always hit “low.”
“On a personal level, we watched the election together, and (my brother Grayson, 19) had to vote in the election for the first time,” said Savannah. “And when we were watching him and seeing the President win, we both started sobering and he had just grabbed me reminding me because we knew that that was our only way out.”
