Rachel Lindsay a Bryan Abasolo have officially ended their marriage, Us Weekly can confirm.
The former Bachelor Nation couple finalized their divorce on Tuesday, January 7. (Page Six was the first to report the news on Wednesday, January 8.) Court documents obtained by Us revealed that Abasolo will keep their Miami home and 2021 Honda Accord while Lindsay will keep her engagement and wedding rings along with her California home and 2023 Porsche Macan. (The former couple did not have a prenuptial agreement and initially reached a divorce settlement in September 2024.)
Lindsay and Abasolo met during season 13 of The Bachelorettewhich aired in 2017. The pair tied the knot in August 2019, two years after getting engaged on the show. Us that was confirmed in January Abasolo filed for divorce of Lindsay following four years of marriage. He listed December 31, 2023, as their separation date and asked for spousal support at the time.
In July 2024, Us confirmed Lindsay was ordered to pay Abasolo $13,257 per month in temporary spousal support plus $15,000 in attorney fees and $5,000 for forensic experts’ expenses. Court documents obtained by Us on Wednesday revealed that Abasolo “waives, discharges and discharges” Lindsay from “any” future charges. However, the documents reveal that Lindsay still owes Abasolo $460,229.
Lindsay and Abasolo are also responsible for their own attorney fees, except for the $20,000 Lindsay previously paid.
Shortly after news of their split broke, Abasolo addressed his split by Lindsay via Instagram. “If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I don’t like to put my personal issues on social media and like to keep a safe space for our family,” she wrote in a statement at the time. “Many of you know me as a chiropractor, and also as a husband, my proudest role to date. After more than 4 years of marriage, Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to separate and start anew.”
Abasolo insisted that the decision was not easy but necessary. “Sometimes loving yourself and your partner means you have to let go,” she added. “I wanted you to hear it from the source before the blogs start making their own reality.”
A day later, Lindsay broke her silence on the divorce filing. “I didn’t think I would get emotional. … First, I’d like to say thank you for the people who reached out. I’m still trying to respond to people. You never know how great your circle is until you see all the people who reach out and love you,” she said on her “Learning Higher” podcast. “Obviously it’s a tough time, if you’ve read the headlines, and you’re probably wondering why I’d even be working. But to be honest with you I need to distract myself and the best way to do that is to do something that I love and I love ‘Higher Learning.'”
Lindsay concluded that she would “eventually” delve deeper into the details of the split, but “it’s not the time” yet as she’s “just trying to take it day by day.”
In December 2023, Lindsay hinted at a marital tie when she admitted on “The Viall Files” podcast that she and Abasolo had “completely different lives,” which contributed to their decision to put space between their relationship and social media.
“I just (was like), ‘I want to keep this to ourselves’ and, you know, marriage has ups and downs, but you never know when we’re good or when we’re not because we never put it out there,” he explained. “I want to keep it that way, so when I want to share something, I do.”
