One of your favorite figures in Pirates Pittsburg History, Dave Parker, died, confirmed on Saturday MLB franchise. He was 74 years old.
Parker, kindly known as “cobra”, was named seven MLB All-Star Teams. He scored more than 2,700 hits and hit 339 Hamers during his Career in the Great League.
It received the MVP National League mark for its excellent season of 1978.

While he is most famous for his stay with pirates, Parker also communicated with Cincinnati Red, Athletics, Milooki Brewers and two other MLB clubs.

Parker died less than two months before he was scheduled to be planned in the National Baseball and Museum in Kuperstown, New York.

Parker was a key work of the World Series Pirates 1979. He was also a member of the 1989 World Athletics Championship team.
The pirates honored their former star, saying that the news of Parker’s death had left the “broken heart” franchise.
