The 1975 forward Matty Healy Break down in tears on stage after his band led this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
In shared photos of the UK event By x On Friday, June 27, the musician, 36, became emotionally emotionally on stage at the end of a performance. He broke down in tears, dropping to his knees and laying his head in his hands and sobbed. Then Healy looked up, breathed out and took a moment before standing back up.
1975 was one of three headings for the three -day festival, which is currently taking place. The band closed on Friday night at the event while Neil Young has the best bills for Saturday and Olivia Rodrigo is the main act for Sunday.
Earlier at night, Healy addressed the 100,000+ crowd with a pint of beer in hand, back Hollywood Correspondent.
“I know I’m supposed to be Rockstar, but this is really scary and I’m very nervous,” said Healy for performing in Glastonbury.
Then he joked, “It’s hard to say when I’m sincerely on stage … but what this moment makes me realize is, yes, I’m probably the best. I’m probably the best songwriter of my generation.”
Healy continued, “This is the first time in my life, I don’t know what to say.”
