Buckingham Palace has ridiculed stars Made in Chelsea For cutting a long -standing royal protocol against filming in the building.
British reality stars Jamie laing and Sophie “HABBS” use their presence at the King’s Trust Awards gala, alongside people like Georg and Amal clooneyWednesday, June 25, to hop on a viral trend that started by King Charles IIIDaughter-in-law Meghan Markle.
Earlier this month Meghan, 43, racked more than 50 million scenes via Instagram for a job in honor of her daughter Princess Lilibet’s birthday. The Duchess of Sussex shared a video of the dance “Baby Mama” who performed in hospital shortly before the child arrived.
Laing and Habboo repeated the viral moment on the grand staircase at Buckingham Palace before post it through their social media. Laing seems to know that he was breaking a big palace rule, as he headed on the clip: “They said we couldn’t film at Buckingham Palace … @sophiehabboo @kingstrust.”
Buckingham Palace responded to the broken rule with a tongue-in-cheek solution: “We see you 👀😉.”
The King’s Trust – the charitable organization founded by Charles in 1976 – also provoked the couple for their mischievous behavior in his annual award gala.
“All our attendees behave very well,” replied the organization to Laing via Instagram.
The Royal Collection Trust has traditionally enforced tight restrictions on visitors filming inside Windsor residences. The group says Generally, “location and filming of reality in the official Royal Residences” is not allowed and asks those interested in filming their property to apply for a license first.
Apart from his viral clip, Habboo shared an authorized photo of her meeting with Charles to mark the special occasion.

The reality stars tied the knot at a private ceremony in London in April 2023 before throwing a huge wedding bash to their family and friends in Marbella, Spain, the following month. (The pair came together after Habboo had a short romance with a close friend laing Sam Thompson himself on Made in Chelsea. Channel 4’s reality show has followed a group of West London Young Associations since 2011.)
