Shane Mosley says he was disappointed and surprised by Devin Haney’s performance in his fight last May against Jose Ramirez in Times in New York City. He had helped Haney (32-0, 15 kos) to prepare for the fight against the former heavy weight champion Ramirez in Big Bear, California.

Mosley claims that when he saw that Haney was running around the ring in this fight, he asked his father, Bill Haney, if this was the play plan to use the movement. He believed that Haney could have eliminated Ramírez.
After seeing the fight, Mosley wondered if what people say about Devin is true. He has been PTSD of his fight against Ryan Garcia last year. If Haney has PTSD, this could continue to affect his performances far beyond Ramírez’s struggle.
“I thought it would move and then try to put a little sauce. I liked,” What happens here? “I almost liked,” What are you doing? FighthypeSpeaking of his surprise to see Devin Haney’s performance against Jose Ramirez on May 2 card in New York.
Mosley says he had seen Devin Spar Big Bear in a small ring against many hard fighters during the training field for his fight against Jose Ramirez. Entering the struggle, Shane believed that Haney would eliminate Ramírez and beat any of any of the 140 or 147. That is why Mosley was surprised to see how Devin ran around the ring all night, without involving the slow and slow Ramírez during the fight in Times Square.
“I was like” I don’t believe what I see right now. “Every other people say,” Oh, PSD “. I’m like” I don’t know if I can agree, “because it’s the first time I saw it,” Mosley said about Haney’s timid performance against Ramirez.
Tim Bradley also mentioned that he considered that Haney showed signs of PTSD that night, believing that he had mentally affected the beating he had taken in his fight against Ryan Garcia in 2024. Devin had been injured in this fight, he fell three times and about three times that the referee, Harvey Dock, did not count. Haney was in the canvas six times and hit as badly as a fighter without being stopped.
“I did not see that character. He did what he did to win. I know he is a better fighter than he showed that night. He did not show in this struggle, but he can fight,” Mosley said about Haney.
Fans know that Devin can fight, but not if he will remain as he did against Ramírez. If this was not the play plan, you have to worry about your future. This would tell you that something has changed mentally with Haney from his struggle with Ryan.
