UP Warriorz (UPW) Franchise at the Premier League (WPL) has announced the departure of the main coach Jon LewisConcludes an association of three years since the creation of the League. Lewis, who took the helm in 2023, guided the team through its inaugural seasons, with the franchise that expressed their gratitude for their contributions.

A mixed mandate under Jon Lewis for Up Warriorz
Under Lewis’s guide, UP Warriorz experienced a fluctuating journey in the highly competitive WPL. In the opening season of the 2023 League, Lewis successfully led the team at the Playoffs, a significant achievement for a new franchise. His campaign, however, ended with a defeat at the hands of the possible champions, the Indians of Mumbai (MI), emphasizing the challenge of the knockout stages.
In the 2024 season he experienced a slight performance, and UP Warriorz finished fourth at the point table, which was not lost in a Playoff site. This indicated increasing intensity in the league and the need for consistent actions of the first level. The most recent WPL 2025 campaign was especially difficult for Warriorz. With regular captain Alyssa Healy Saved due to a knee injury, India’s bowl, Depti Sharma, increased the side. Lewis’ coaching journey
